Advent and Lent are opportunities to set aside time focusing on being connected to God. Each devotional I've produced has an overall theme with a particular focus each week. The daily devotion consists of a prayer; a scripture reading; reflection for adults; reflection for children; a section for quotes, poems, and lyrics; and space to write ones own thoughts. The devotionals attempt to make scripture accessible to one's life everyday.
